Let’s see what the Jot Girls came up with for this mood board.
Meghann says, “I was inspired by the beautiful floral images, navy blue and gold pattern and the softness of the overall board. To pair with the softness of the layout, I chose a favorite photo from my daughter’s due-date photoshoot. My journaling is hidden and can be read by pulling the ‘keep’ tab on the left side of the layout. ”
Raquel says, “I just adored the colours in this mood board. I chose a black and white photo of my children and this allowed me to easily incorporate all colours in the mood board into my layout. I was very inspired by the floral bouquet and pops of gold, so I used lots of those elements when embellishing and creating my layers. ”
Sharmaine says, “Here is my take on the very gorgeous mood board, thanks Meghann. I don’t usually do florals but this piece of Crate paper fitted the mood board colours perfectly. Gorgeous colour combination.”
Anna says, “This mood board is so gorgeous. When I saw the minty green card with gold foil dots, i knew I wanted to use it in this mood board. Teaming it with light pink and navy cardstock along with the photo then all I had to do was embellish. When seeing the bunch of flowers in this mood board, I had no problem choosing my photo. I just adore a vase of pretty flowers in my home and so I documented that!”
Aimee says, “I royally suck at mood boards. I am not even kidding a little. It’s because my pictures often determine my palette. For a mood board challenge I have to reverse engineer it. I picked Crates Craft Market collection because I felt was the closest fit to the board, then I went through my photos to find one that matched the collection. I completely forgot to add the green all together, but I feel like I earned bonus points for including eggs and a ton of wood-grain 😛 Fab mood board Meghann, It was a great stretch.”
Sheree says, “I just love this pretty mood board with it’s gorgeous mix of colours! I found that I had lots of papers and things in my stash to suit this challenge and my page came together quite easily. I went with a navy background since I loved how the other colours looked against it, floral embellishments, a heart and a touch of gold to finish it off. Thank you for creating this lovely mood board Meghann!”
Kim says, “The stunning colours in this months mood board were a perfect match for the new Wanderlust collection and the Gold foil and the MInc machine from Heidi Swapp. I couldn’t help but pair it with the fun photo we took when she was in Australia recently! ”
Leanne says, “Navy, gold and pink! What an awesome start to April and such a fun combination to scrap. I chose to create a layout featuring my daughter, starting with a navy background and then building up the layers with pink and gold in the details.”
I have the BEST creative team ever! I love how each layout is so different!! What are you going to make?
