(This Mood Board is now closed and our winner is #22 Anita Bownds) It’s time to introduce our delicious new Mood Board for August. This one has been designed by Jot Girl Amanda Hall. Here it is…
With lashings of deep blues, stone washed backdrops and highlights of silver.. this is gorgeous and sure to inspire a papery project or two!

Here’s what the clever Jot Girls came up with this month.
Nat says, “Although the colours of blue and white could easily be interpreted in a masculine way, the mood board prompted me to take it in a more intricate and detailed floral-y direction. Not necessarily my normal style, but I really enjoyed the challenge of it.”
Anna says, “I loved all the shades of blue in the mood board teamed with the splashes of white, cream, and silvers. I have gone with an splattered ink background in navy, silver, teal, and a sky blue. I adore the blue floral Heidi Swapp paper which I found in my stash and knew it had to go on this layout! So everything else had to work around that piece. When it came to choosing the perfect photo for this colour scheme, I couldn’t find one that suited the colours so I chose a black and white photo of my kids (cos black and white goes with ANYTHING!! haha!) – and adhered it over a journal pocket which houses a little letter to them for added sentiment :-)”
Leanne says, “This gorgeous mood board had me playing with lots of delicate layers, bold navy and silver tones! And even though the feel of my layout could have turned frosty, I chose to document the warm hugs I get from my youngest two boys.”
Raquel says, “Loved this challenge and tried to use up some more of the gorgeous Heidi products we have been sent.”
So.. what will YOU make. We want to see your creations too.
