It’s Day 9 of our Project Life week and it’s our very last day of Project Life uploads from our lovely Jot Team. I hope you have enjoyed our series of posts over the past week or so.
Today we take a look at what Wendy Morris has come up with and it’s a gorgeously innovative way to use your Project Life cards.
Project Life cards used: Turquoise Edition, Cobalt Edition, Cherry Edition
Wendy says, “I I decided to use the Project Life cards in the concept of a mini book. Using the Zutter Bind-It-All made for a quick way to put it all together. I used a variety of collections from the Project Life system and love how all the different Project Life cards coordinate so well together. I wanted to accent different parts of the cards to tie into the theme of my mini, “This Is Our Life Now”. I used a simple stamp on the cover and used different Project Life cards that worked into my theme.
The great thing about the Project Life cards is that I didn’t need to cut any of them to size to fit into the mini book which is 3×4 size. So, you can literally take your stack of Project Life cards and 3×4 size photos or smaller and you’re all ready to and roll to make this mini.
I decided to mix it up with different size photos (i.e. some are 3×4 size and some are smaller). Also, I always love the mix up of adding larger photos into my minis’.
I used different takes on embellishing (i.e. stamping, wood veneers, typewriter for journaling) for a twist on texture and interest on the Project Life cards.”
