I am speechless.
The response to Jot has been, well, totally overwhelming, thrilling, exciting, sensational and insane!
In just two days we have had over 100,000 impressions (and that number is rising all the time) — this means that over 100,000 people clicked on Jot via our website, a thumbnail on facebook or via a link on someone’s blog or message board or via Issuu.com where we publish the magazine. “Impressions’ show the number of people who flipped through the magazine, much like standing in the newsagency and flipping through a publication…
Over 6,000 of those people were more interactive than just flipping through the pages. Those 6,000 people lingered longer, explored and clicked through links and generally read through the magazine at length. They shared the magazine, downloaded it and spend some time reading through it.
In just TWO DAYS!
I am so excited about Jot. So excited to see where all this will lead. I have a mountain of plans and ideas and it’s just incredible the emails and comments we are getting and how everyone has embraced the magazine.
UPDATE: And today, in just SIX days — our stats are in. Not even ONE WEEK since the magazine has launched and our numbers are sitting at:
- 223,712 impressions and
- 9,369 reads
The numbers are just incredible. It’s all a little hard to take in but so exciting to think the magazine has been so well received. I love that so many of you are embracing what we are doing and helping us spread the word.
Here’s a few of the things people are saying on our Jot facebook page:
Can I Download The Magazine?
Yes you absolutely can download the magazine to your desktop as a PDF. When you open up the document to read it on your desktop computer, theres an option in the top menu bar to download the magazine as a PDF to your desktop. Just choose “Download” from the drop down menu and it will allow you to then save the document as a PDF to your computer. You will need Adobe reader to be able to access the magazine when you are offline.
In order to save the publication to a mobile device like your ipad, you need to save the magazine to your desktop computer and then sync the PDF via your computer and iTunes to save it to your iPad.
We have already started booking advertising spots for Issue 2. I will update our advertising page with the new details and deadline etc but basically, our next issue will release on 1 September 2013. Advertising bookings close 1 August 2013. Lisa has more details. She is super duper busy at the moment as we have been flooded with emails and Media Kit requests so please be patient and know she will get to you as soon as she can. So, THANK YOU for reading Jot. Thank you for sharing and embracing Jot. Thank you for helping us spread the word.
