OUR Mood Board has now closed. Our winner is Sandra Brimelow. Congrats.
Welcome to our very first Mood Board challenge for 2016! Here’s to another year of wonderful challenges!
And here is our January 2016 Mood Board..
Let’s see what some of the Jot Girls have come up with for this one.
Amanda says, “Inspired by the black and white vintage rose print, the hessian, the timber, the twine, the typewriter font, newspaper print, floral branches and that awesome cake!”
Anna says, “I just adore this colour scheme – the neutrals with the pops of mint and turquoise. I couldn’t wait to get creating with it! It’s amazing what a quick (not!) trip to Spotlight can do to get some supplies together to whip up a layout when on Christmas holidays 😉
Our family had a really lovely Christmas. The kids loved spending time with their cousins – so much so that when it came to goodbye both our girls were quite sad. I captured this moment between my big girl and her cousin. They’re six months apart in age and get along super well. She really disliked seeing him go…the fact that I snapped this photo of them though made her smile :-)”
Nat says, “This colour scheme is far from my comfort zone of bright and bold, but I’m always up for a good challenge! I do love the rustic and natural textures in this and tried my best to replicate the same with this mountain scene.”
Sheree says, “I love how the colours in this mood board work together so beautifully! I tried to create a textured look to my page with my background paper inspired by the texture of the wedding favour bags and woodgrain in the mood board. I also added a touch of floral, some text paper and the ‘LOVE’ theme along with the splashes of mint/turquoise. This was such a lovely mood board!”
So what will YOU create!
