We’re extending our July challenge to run through until the end of August – giving you a few more weeks up your sleeve to get your entries in!
Introducing our JULY/AUGUST 2017 MOOD BOARD. Pulled together by Natalie, it’s flooded with vibrant colour and a tropical feel.
Let’s see what the Jot Girls have come up with this time..
Natalie says, “I know it’s winter here in Australia, but that’s exactly why I chose this mood board to be full of warm tropical colours – I love the escapism!! I tried to make my card capture the entire feel of the board by including as many of the elements as I could.”
Mardi says, “Thanks for the lovely bright..summery board Natalie… and for the record…I may just have squealed a little when I found a toucan!”
Anna says, “I really loved the bold and bright nature of this mood board. As I was flicking through a Mollie Makes magazine, I found some papers included in it and one of them stuck out to me of a vase of flowers. And so i fussy cut it out and formed my page around that one feature!!”
Kim says, “I loved loved loved the bright colours in the mood board so I decided to scrap these photos of my family’s trip to Las Vegas this year. I wanted a fun party but eclectic feel to my layout so I have combined that Heidi Swapp Minc pinwheel and that super cute flamingo ( which substituted for the toucan) I die cut with silhouette and spritzed it with some Yellow and Georgia Peach Colorshine!”
Lory says, “I have loved the soft way to use this color mood board mixing the light blue, the light green and the yellow with a touch of grey/beige.I have loved the result. Lately I’m so crazy for the hybrid scrapbooking. I spent a lot of time at my computer editing and writing and mixing elements and this process makes me feel so so good. A random mini album about our family love!”
Amanda says, “The tropical tones of this mood board were delicious! Just what i needed while freezing my way through this Wintery weather! It was almost as good as warm sun on a tropical holiday.”
Sheree says, “I love the gorgeous fun bright colours in this mood board! I went with the summer theme for my layout with splashes of colour against a white background.”
Sharmaine says, “At first the mix of colours had me sweating but I went with it and enjoyed the boldness of the mood board. I even found a toucan, on a free colour in site, that I downloaded and printed.”
Felicity says, “I just loved the bright colours. I couldn’t help but create a Project Life page.”
And now it’s over to you guys! What will you make!
