Thank you to Jot Girl Lauren for this sparkly, gold and dazzling Mood Board for this month of June.
Let’s see what the Jot Girls have created, inspired by this magnificent mood board.
Lauren says, “I’m off to New Zealand shortly for a family holiday yay! I knew I would need a pretty special travellers notebook for this adventure. The amazing Heidi Swapp and Teresa Collins was all I needed to create a TN that I love. ”
Sheree says, ” I was totally inspired by the glittery golds and subtle greys in this mood board! I used a pale grey patterned paper for my background and then built up layers of white and gold to complete my layout.”
Natalie says, “All that white and gold suggested something very elegant and regal to me, so I thought I better make a wedding card! I used the image of the overlapping rosettes (is that what they’re called?!) to inspire my gold flowers, and the girls rings prompted me to add the scattering of white pearls. ”
Sharmaine says, “Loved the depth of this month’s mood board. I pulled out my gold paint, circle stencil and a piece of Kraft cardstock and kept my page simple with golds, whites, cream and kraft colours. ”
Kim says, “A touch of gold and grey mixed with a touch of teal for some brightness ! I used one of the new Heidi Swapp cards from the Stationery collection to create my card. I simply drew a cloud shape and fussy cut around it ! I painted my rainbow with Deco Art metallic paint in the hues from the mood board and then layered over my cut file!”
Anna says, “This mood board called for a clean and crisp layout with some dazzle. I got out my Versamark and embossing powder in glitter gold to add some fun sparkle to the background. And stuck to the whites and marble grey looks in between all the shiny or glittery gold pieces and layered it up! Such a lovely mood board Lauren – thank you!”
Mardi says, “Wow…loved the challenge of this gold inspired mood board .. its was so hard to not add colour. I was totally drawn to the gold and the marble of the phone cover.”
