You Are My Favourite – Project Life Shaker Card
I still can’t get enough of using sequins and transparencies in my projects. I am totally glad they are back in fashion.
I’ve put together a quick and easy tutorial on how to pair these fun elements to create a Project Life Insert that gives plenty of movement and layers without the bulk.
what you need
- Project Life card for background,
- printed transparency,
- washi tape,
- sewing machine and thread,
- alpha stamps,
- black ink,
- white copy paper
Cut the transparency down to fit your chosen insert card.
layer over the washi tape on the left hand side.
Stitch around three sides of the card using your sewing machine, leave one end open. Through the open section, place sequins. Continue to sew around all four sides of the card, I personally love it messy.
Stamp our your sentiment on your copy paper and cut out roughly with scissors.
Adhere your sentiment strips with double sided tape, then sew them onto the card to finish.
