This mood board has now closed and our winner is #10 By Jana. Congratulations!
It’s time to introduce our beautiful, beautiful Mood Board for March.
Put together by our Jot Girl Mardi.. here it is isssss…
And let’s see what the Jot Girls have created using this Mod Board as inspiration..
Mardi says, “I took the watercolour flower image as the focal pint of my layout. It reminded me so much of this vintage sheet I had in my fabric stash. I also worked in the woodgrain…the typewriter and of course some arrows.”
Meghann says, “Mardi, I loved this mood board. The colors are just perfect. I took cues from the watercolored flowers image and created a half-stamped, half-watercolored border on the left side of my layout.”
Leanne says, “This mood board is so beautiful and soft, I wanted to keep my layout along those same lines. My starting point was the image of the gorgeous watercolour flowers. I tried to replicate it with Bella Blvd stamps on watercolour paper and then add several layers of patterned paper for interest.”
Kim says, “I was drawn to the wood grain in the mood board and wanted make to this a focus on my layout.”
Anna says, “I was drawn to that wooden clock and knew I’d seen paper with that pattern on it somewhere – and I just so happened to find it! In my Crate Paper stash…Notes and Things range to be precise. I created my layout around that paper! I also LOVED creating that big bold title using the letter making tool by We R Memory Keepers. What a fab idea that invention was!
Thanks Mardi for a lovely mood board to play with :-)”
Sheree says, “In creating my layout I took inspiration from the gorgeous colour combo, the watercolour, woodgrain, arrows and lovely, fresh summery feel of the mood board. It was perfect for this fun pic of Madison enjoying the sunshine and outdoors!”
Nat says, “I can never go past a pink and aqua colour scheme – they’re my colours! The addition of some woodgrain was a lovely twist though and gave a whole new fresh direction to this classic combination. I also loved the arrows and managed to include a cluster of them on my card too.”
Raquel says, “I was inspired by the arrows, woodgrain clock and colour combination for this layout. ”
Amanda says, “Inspired by the watercolours, the lemon slices and lemonade, the flowers, the arrow, the triangles in the woodgrain image, the timber, and typewriter.”
So… come on.. join in and show us what you’ve got!
