Gorgeous. One word to sum up this month’s Mood Board
This month Jot Girl Jodie York has pulled together the most gorgeous Mood Board filled with hot pinks, teals and with a retro feel.

Let’s take a look at what the Jot Girls have created using Jodie’s mood board for inspiration. Jodie also has a gorgeous “Be Positive” freebie which many of our Jot Girls have used. Check out Jodie’s blog right here and grab your own brush script file to add to your challenge layout too.
Aimee says, “This month I took the amazing happy colour palette and broke out my distress inks, I wouldn’t consider it the best layout I have ever made, but it was a lot of fun.”
Beshka says, “This mood board was right up my alley, bright + happy with a bit of b&w! You can never go wrong with that combo.”
Leanne says,”The colours on the mood board are absolutely gorgeous, but it was the “be positive” message that guided my scrapping process. I transferred Jodie’s digital stamp to my Silhouette software, resized the image and then cut it out from black cardstock. I was able to then layer the pieces both on top of and beneath my photo to create my title for this page.”
Kim says, “I loved Jodie’s free printable, I couldn’t help but use my Heidi Swapp Minc and hot pink foil to add a touch of glamour to my layout!”
Anna says, “I’ll say it right up…I really dislike negativity – whether it is spoken, negative thoughts, undesirable circumstances – I work hard to avoid it or be rid of it quick smart. I have always been a person whose heart and mind gravitates towards a positive, encouraging and uplifting direction. When I feel life hitting a slump and the chance for negative thoughts and feelings to surface, I shake it off and replace it with being positive and adopt this mantra — ‘this too shall pass’. No matter how crap things get, there is always something I can focus on that can create a more positive mindset! It’s not always easy, but my gosh it helps a great deal and makes me feel SO much better!
Natalie says, “I loved this mix of colours, especially the touch of silver and used it to inspire this card which is girly and romantic whilst still remaining clean and graphic, and perhaps even just a little bit silly …. I love that sentiment strip which reads “you float my boat” – makes me giggle every time I read it!
Sheree says, “The gorgeous colours and the cool digital stamp in this mood board were just perfect for this photo of Madi! She had always been quite timid about trying to float on her back but this particular day she didn’t give up and realised she could do it so easily!”
Mardi says, “It seemed so appropriate to record this story with that gorgeous piece of script from Jodie. It’s nearing the end of the Uni semester which means never ending assignments… late nights…word counts… and “Why oh why am I doing this?” moments.
Raquel says, “I must admit I am guilty of negative thinking and lack self confidence. I just loved this script by Jodie and thought it would be perfect to print and pin up in my studio as a daily reminder. For this layout though I decided to turn it into a cut file and cut it out on my silhouette cameo. So happy with how it turned out, its bright and bold for this positive message!”
Amanda says, “The L plate theory test was so nerve wracking – but I was so proud of how my girls went. The next test for our anxiety levels is actually driving on the main road! Eeek!”
Sharmaine says, “I haven’t scrapped in a month so this was a lovely platform from which to jump from. As we enter the nervous world of having a learner driver this page is just a reminder to our eldest that she can do anything if she stays positive and practices.
The Jot Girls have done it again! Gorgeous layouts. Right? So what are YOU going to create!
