Introducing another delectable Mood Board – this time Jot Girl Leanne Allinson has pulled our board together.
Just take a look at those rich, warm colours – teal, mustard, orange, scarlet and grey.
Let’s take a look at what the Jot Girls have come up with this month.
Leanne says, “The circles that have been penciled in and hand stitched link back to the circles in the typography and the hot air balloon over the white back drop. ”
Sheree says, “I was totally inspired by the vertical quote design in the top right of the mood board. I chose stickers and embellishments in the mood board colours to suit and my page came together so quickly! ”
Kim says, “I was totally inspired by the hot air balloon in the mood board so i cut my own from patterned paper, then layered lots of words in and around it to emulate the word art also found in the mood board.”
Mardi says, “I drew my inspiration from the stacked quote with all the varying fonts… and of course how fabulous to be able to record a photo from our visit to Amsterdam last year.”
Sharmaine says, “Loved the colours and the wash behind the balloon. So I created a water colour background, perfect for this photo snapped recently in Melbourne.”
Natalie says, “I took my very literal inspiration from the image of the hot air balloon soaring over the top of the snowy field. I love the pop of bright warm colours above the cold white glittery background. ”
Amanda says, “Inspired by the art print design, the hot air balloon, the neon lights, the art deco font in the ‘Amsterdam’ and the little buildings in a row. ”
Felicity says, “I love the warm tones in this palette. What I loved was the big quote. This inspired me to create a prominent divide in my layout and to do a bigger title than I normally would. ”
What will you make? We can’t wait to see!
