Let’s take a look at what the Jot Girls created this month.
Kim says, “No one was surprised when I added yellow my mood board right!! It really is the happiest colour and It just lifts my spirit every day. Having two boys I don’t have a lot of photos that would coordinate with the pink shades in the mood board so I went with a fun photo of my best friend and husband they make me happy every day too. I love the layers created with the Heidi Swapp floral die cut paper and the frames and acrylic word, it adds a feminine touch but because its layered its not too girly as well. I love al the samples the other Jot girls have created and I cant wait to see what you come up with!”
Aimee says, “I loved this moodboard so much – it made me think of spring and all things that make me happy. Especially our homegrown roses and a new issue of Artful Blogging. Once I had my photo picked went through my scrap bucket for all my pink and yellow papers and was suitably impressed with my haul, but then I found the orange floral brocade paper (still kinda on theme being floral right?) that matched my roses, which led the vintage green Basic Grey pattern and before you know I’m have a ball creating a layout that matches the theme of the moodpboard more than the colours. Oh well I love it and moodboards are just a jumping off point, right?”
Sharmaine says, “”Gorgeous fresh colours always make me feel creative. I splash of pink paint on a yellow background and what’s not to like?! Thanks for the great colour combo Kim.
Leanne says, “This delightful mood board had me scrambling to pull together all my pretty yellow and pink supplies, as quickly as I could! It made me feel very happy to play with this colour combination, so what better way to put it to use than to create a card for someone I truly appreciate. ”
