This mood board has now closed and our winner is Timi Biro. Congratulations.
It’s another delicious new Mood Board.. this time created by Jot Girl Leanne..
THANK YOU to all of you who support our Mood Boards.. it’s a real thrill to see what our Jot readers come up with each month!!
Let’s see what some of our Jot Girls have created using this new Mood Board..
Leanne says, “I’m so happy with how this mood board has been brought to life! My goal was to bring fresh colours together and soften them with a touch of water colour and outdoor elements.
For my layout I also wanted to document the team work challenge I have set for my kids. The star constellation is indicative of a world out there that is bigger than them but if they stand by each other, all will be well long term. The splashes of paint along with the peacock colour palette, complement my photo, tying all the Pinterest image elements together.”
Suse says, “All the beautiful painterly textures on this board really inspired me to have a play with my paints and inks… the airy feel of the mountainscape also took me right back to my favourite place: on the beach near my Dad’s house in Wales.”
Anna says, “I have started delving into the many devotional kits by Illustrated Faith that I have accumulated…this one is called Created to Create (as you can work out! haha!). I used the new waterpaints from IF to create my background in the mood board colour scheme of blue and lime green. I highlighted the key verse then just layered stamps and my journalling around it. KEY POINT: We all have creativity within us; we have all been given specific gifts unique to each individual. OWN IT!”
Mardi says, “Thanks for a beautiful watercoloury mood board Leanne. My inspiration was drawn from that beautiful painting with the watercolour horizon..it just stole my heart and I couldnt see past it. It took me awhile to find the perfect photo…but thankfully I spotted this one in Instagram which worked beautifully.”
Kim says, “Over the weekend we were swimming with friends in our pool and my son said he wanted to photo bomb my photo! he literally did and I made the best capture.”
Nat says, “The inspiration for my card came from the alphabet image. That triggered me singing this song and from there the card was created!”
Amanda says, “I was inspired by the constellation art, the chevron, the peacock and the watercolour paint.”
Sheree says, “I took my inspiration from the pretty watercolours in the mood board which I used for my background. I really loved the gorgeous greens and blues in this board too!”
And now its over to YOU! What will you make! we can’t wait to see!!
