Let’s see what some of the Jot Girls have come up with using our February Mood Board.
Yes, don’t fall off your seats but I actually made a layout for this month’s challenge. I loved the dusky pinks and sage greens and when I started to see the layouts my Jot Girls were uploading, I decided to play along too.
Lisa says, “I kept it pretty simple as I was still unpacking my craft stuff at my new house!! Seems fitting to have the first page scrapped in the new space to be a picture of the girls loving where we are living.”
Mel says, “Here is my take. I used the colour swatches as a foundation by using water-colour crayons. I then matched up the embellishments to suit. Totally inspired by Wilna Furstenburg.”
Anna says, “I have gone with a layered look for this layout with a little stamping and colour mist spritzed in the background. I have included a pink and white diamond print paper (inspired by image 1) and some orange striped ribbon (inspired by image 5). I have used a brown paper bag as my photo backing and tangled up some chocolate coloured raffia to bring the touch of brown onto the page.”
Sharmaine says, “I had fun layering up all the colours in the gorgeous palette. Added a floral twist with a paper doily, altered with some water colour paint.”
So. We want to see YOUR layouts. Join in with our challenge. We can’t wait to see what you create.
Our challenge runs until midnight 28 February 2014.
