Let’s see what some of our team members have put together using Raquel’s Mood Board
Mood Board creator, Amanda, says: “January means ‘beach’ to us so it was only natural for me to pick this as my theme and take inspiration from summery, beach-y colours. The photo i have used is my daughter Piper and i just love her windswept, sea salty hair in this shot. She has always been a beach babe – right from a super young age and has an impressive collection of bathers. What a cutie!”
Kim says, “I was super inspired by the red in my son’s shirt so I went with these photos not necessarily beach photos. I then shopped my stash to find bits and pieces to fit in with the colour scheme. I also cut a block of denim material to fit into my design. This layout is a new favourite of mine.”
Stephanie says, “I love your mood board Amanda!! We are in the middle of winter here, so it was so fun to pull out these awesome colors and play with my summer photos!! :)”
Anna says,”I am aiming to use more of what I have on hand in my craft room and incorporating into my layouts etc. I quick-unpicked a pocket off an old pair of jeans. I stitched on some tissue wrapping paper for my background and repeatedly used some Love diecuts (bought from Etsy). I am enjoying using different materials to add texture and lift the layout.”
Mardi says, “The colours and textures in this mood board are sensational…..I LOVE them..beachy….primary… AND…. it just so happens…we had a recent beachy wedding. Perfect!

Lauren says, “Being a mother of young children this mood board jumped straight out at me. Here’s what I created using the mood board for inspiration.”
