This is a lightning fast birthday card I whipped up recently for my mum. It’s SO quick to make it will have your head spinning!
As usual, I left it to the last minute to make a card – I had a teeny window of opportunity to pull something together just moments before racing out the door for our family dinner for mum’s birthday.
I am pretty much IN LUUURVE with Heidi’s gold foil Project Life cards and chose this 4×6″ card as my base! It certainly didn’t need much fanfare as the colours and gold foil are the stars of the show here! So I just chose another 4×6 card and machine stitched the two cards together across the top edge.
I then used my trusty vintage typewriter and some note paper to type up my message. Machine stitched them to the card front using red thread and…
ta dahhhh.. all done! It took longer to wrap the present 😉
Don’t you just love the fact that Project Life cards don’t HAVE to be used strictly for Project Life pages!
